ABOUT CRESTWELL MEDICAL

Helping You Move Better and Get Back to What Matters

At Crestwell Medical, outstanding physiotherapy is about more than easing pain. It is about helping people move better, live more fully, and return to the activities that matter to them. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a long-term condition, or dealing with everyday aches and pains, our team is here to help. We take time to understand your symptoms, circumstances, and goals before creating a treatment plan for you. We support people of all ages with muscle and joint injuries, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff problems, neck and back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgery rehabilitation, whiplash, and age-specific physiotherapy needs.

Adapting to Keep Our Patients Moving

Supporting Patients
Since 2020

When the COVID-19 pandemic brought lockdowns and social distancing measures in 2020, Crestwell Medical adapted quickly. We introduced online consultations and virtual physiotherapy sessions so patients could continue receiving advice and rehabilitation support safely from home. That experience shaped the flexible approach we still use today. Alongside face-to-face treatment, tele-rehabilitation remains available when it is appropriate for the patient and their condition.
We understand how frustrating and isolating it can feel when pain or reduced mobility affects daily life. That is why our care remains personal, respectful, and centred on your wellbeing.

    FAQ

    Questions About Your Physiotherapy Care

    Need Help Before Booking?

Your physiotherapist will discuss your symptoms, medical history, daily activities, and goals. They will then assess relevant movement, strength, mobility, and function before explaining the findings and recommending a treatment plan.
You can usually arrange a private physiotherapy appointment without a doctor’s referral. Some insurance companies require a referral or prior authorisation, so contact your insurer before treatment if you plan to make a claim.
Bring any relevant medical letters, scan reports, medication details, insurance information, and clothing that allows the affected area to be assessed comfortably.
The number of sessions depends on your condition, symptoms, response to treatment, and goals. Your physiotherapist will discuss this after your assessment and review the plan as you progress.
